Matthew Rankin

This small exhibition provides an overview of the work of filmmaker Matthew Rankin. Originally from Winnipeg, the Montreal-based filmmaker shares illustrations and tests from his last film, The Tesla World Light, produced by the National Film Board of Canada (NFB). Objects used in the film's production, along with sketches from the film Mynarski Death Plummet, a selection certificate from Cannes and a handful of prizes, including the Off-Limits Award from the Annecy International Animation Festival, punctuate the exhibition.

The items on display are from the NFB's collection, and from Matthew Rankin's personal collection.
