New member
The official subscription or renewal date is January 1st of each year. However, all new members benefit from a special entry fee based on the month they signed up. Click on the following link for information about current rates.

Regular member
Subscription to the Regular Membership of the Cinémathèque québécoise is offered at the rate of $120 per year and is renewable on January 1st of each year.
Membership benefits and discounts are detailed below.
Corporate member
Any organization, association or establishment in the film, television or new media industry may join the Cinémathèque québécoise, and to this end must designate someone to represent it at the Cinémathèque’s annual general meeting. The representative may stand for election to the Cinémathèque’s Board of Directors, and all written correspondence will be addressed to him or her. However, the corporate membership card does not specify a name and confers all the benefits and privileges of membership on the holder.
The annual corporate membership card costs $500 per year, renewable on January 1st each year.

- Voting privileges at the annual general meeting;

- Mailing of the program guide;
- Invitation to certain VIP events;
- 10% discount on food and non-alcoholic beverages at the Cinémathèque’s Café-Bar;
- 10% discount on rental of the Cinémathèque’s facilities;
- Special rate for viewing selected works in the Cinémathèque’s collections.

- 15% discount on posters purchased at À l'Affiche;
- 15% discount on membership at La Boîte Noire (includes the DVD Guide);
- $10 admission to concerts by Nouvel Ensemble Moderne (Salle Claude-Champagne);
- 15% discount on a subscription to 24 images magazine;
- 15% discount on admission to a temporary exhibition at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts;
- $2 off the regular-price admission to the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal;
- 25% discount on admission to the Canadian Centre for Architecture;
- Two-for-one admission to screenings of Quebec films at Cinéma Cineplex Odeon Quartier Latin (subject to certain restrictions);
- 15% discount on membership at any Énergie Cardio centre;
- 7% discount on the "rate of the day" at any Hôtel Gouverneur in Quebec;
- 10% discount on massages at Studio Bliss from Monday to Thursday (please note that the 10% discounts Monday to Thursday are for regular priced services only and cannot be combined with any other offer);
- Free aperitif with the purchase of a meal at the restaurant Chez ma grosse truie chérie;

Freebies and discounts on admission fees at selected partner festivals;

10% discount on regular tickets for the 2011-2012 season of the Montreal Opera, with the exception of the Gala (Information: 514 985-2222, ext 2246).
