Concert | Le fruit vert
Always driven by the desire to make an event and to put our film programming in perspective through the contribution of other practices, we present a concert by the bicephalous, feminine and electro-experimental musical project Le fruit vert (composed of artists Marie-Douce St-Jacques and Andrea-Jane Cornell). Opening the concert is the renowned trombonist and sound designer from Maine, Id M Theft Able.
Founded in 2011, Le fruit vert is the bicephalous project of Andrea-Jane Cornell and Marie-Douce St-Jacques whose roots extend to over 20 years of friendship. Their complicity translates into an almost telepathic musical synergy. The duo uses voice, polyphonic keyboards (electronic organs and synthesizers) and amplified object-instruments for musical and experimental compositions.
