Vergine Keaton

Born in 1981, Vergine Keaton is a French director and visual artist. After studying graphic design and cinema, in 2009 she directed Je criais contre la vie ou pour elle, selected at the Cannes Film Festival (ACID). Two other films will follow: Marzevan in 2015 and Le Tigre de Tasmanie, in official competition at the 2018 Berlin festival. In 2020, she collaborates with bandmaster Laurence Equilbey around Samuel Barber's Agnus Dei. She also creates installations presented in Times Square, at the Pompidou Center, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in St Petersburg, at the Alliance Française in New York, or at the Nuit Blanche in Paris.
