In a poverty-stricken village on a Louisiana bayou, six-year-old Hushpuppy lives with his sick and tortured father. Benh Zeitlin
Benh Zeitlin is an American filmmaker and screenwriter. He is best known for directing and co-writing Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012), which won multiple awards. Personally, Zeitlin won the Breakthrough Director Award at the Gotham Independent Film Awards and the Caméra d'or at the Cannes Film Festival. The film was nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director.
