A brilliant professor of Russian origin, sickly jealous, is convinced that his wife is cheating on him. He hires a private investigator to watch her. Soon, the investigator develops an attraction for her target.
Noël Mitrani
Born in Toronto from French parents, Noël Mitrani moved to France at the age of 5. He studied at the Pasteur high school before graduating in history and philosophy at the Sorbonne. He worked for a while as a press cartoonist and journalist. He then directed his first short films from 1999 to 2003. In 2005, he moved to Montreal and directed his first feature film, On the Trail of Igor Rizzi, with the actor Laurent Lucas, with whom he will collaborate again on several occasions. After making several dramatic films in the 2010s, Mitrani returned to the offbeat humor of his first film with the 2020 romantic comedy Between Them.
