Bloody Angels
This recurring program is an opportunity to present films from various eras and origins, thanks to 35mm prints acquired over the years by the Cinémathèque québécoise. This month, Wim Vandekeybus’ Blush, a spellbinding exploration of the unconscious and passion, punctuated by dance numbers and inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.
Nicholas Ramm travels from Oslo to Hotten to investigate a murder that may be linked to another homicide that occurred six months earlier. The close-knit and hostile population seems to be guarding a strange mystery.

Karin Julsrud
Karin Julsrud is a Norwegian producer and filmmaker. She is known as the director behind Bloody Angels (1998). As a producer, she produced Joachim Trier's first ever feature film, Reprise (2006), and King of Devil's Island (2010), starring Stellan Skarsgård.
