Clementina
For the magazine's twentieth anniversary this year, a series of screenings has been planned on the double bill principle, with the main focus on a selection of rarely-seen films. Other movies in the program are also important milestones in the development of the critics' dialogue within one of Quebec's most dynamic film magazines.
Everyone is in lockdown, but Clementina and the man she’s quarantined with don’t stop working. We know little about him: he teaches something, is elusive and coward, and obsessively collects objects that populate his house like an invading army. And what do we know about her? Even less: we barely see her face, a mysterious face that seems strong enough to deal with uncertainty, with danger, with adversity.
