Coco Farm
The farming world is often torn between age-old traditions and industrialisation, the passing of the torch and technological change, family-run businesses and corporate conglomerates, the rural communities it inhabits and the cities it feeds, environmental challenges and the drive for profitability... All these issues are reflected in this program, which highlights how many recent films from Québec and France have looked at the agricultural world, capturing its essential, resilient, and sometimes painful aspects.

Max, a 12-year-old entrepreneur, is forced to shut down his garage-based business and move with his father to a remote village in the countryside. When Max discovers chickens in his cousin Charles' old, abandoned barn, he sees an opportunity to start a new business. The two partners join forces with Alice, a young YouTuber known for her gardening videos, and set out to create a farm with 500 laying hens.
Sébastien Gagné
Sébastien Gagné is a Québécois filmmaker, winner of seven Gémeaux Awards and a Numix. He is one of the pioneers of Quebec’s digital scene. Since 2012, his work has garnered recognition both at home and abroad. He has since transitioned to major television series, quickly establishing a solid reputation through his unique and personal style. He is currently developing several feature films and plans to begin production in the near future.
