Invented in the underground clubs of New York in the 80s, voguing has allowed the black, Latino and LGBT+ communities to assert themselves and face the outside world. Lasseindra Ninja is today a major icon of this dance. After 10 years of absence, she returns to her native land, Guyana, to train young dancers. By transmitting to them a state of mind and an attitude based on self-assertion, she gives them the tools to resist the hostility of the world around them. A dance that sounds the hour of revolt.
