Synopsis

Elected in his district under the Parti Québécois, Jacques Parizeau became the 26th premier of Quebec in 1994. Driven by a desire to get Quebecers out of colonization and educational underdevelopment, while solving the problems of federalism, this former finance minister organized a second referendum on October 30, 1995. A chronology of the events leading up to the second failed referendum, this documentary features interviews and archival footage of a politician dedicated to self-determination who died in 2015.
