Johnny Mnemonic
Science fiction pushes the boundaries, explores the improbable, and envisions the future of humanity. It also exposes us to extravagant visual effects and the inventive power of cinema, reflecting our deepest fantasies. In cinema, science fiction is immersive, creating worlds suddenly within our reach. This summer, over one hundred films from the history of cinema will allow us to witness this!
Johnny is a messenger who integrates and transports digital data in his brain for various customers who wish to protect their data at all costs. He takes on a risky mission, to say the least, in addition to being chased by yakuza.

Robert Longo
Robert Longo is a contemporary American artist, painter, and sculptor. He achieved his first successes in the early 1980s with his series Men in the Cities: large charcoal drawings depicting men and women against a pristine background, soberly dressed in black and white, adopting constrained, contorted poses. Some of his work from this serie was prominently displayed in the apartment of Patrick Bateman in the film American Psycho (2000). Subsequently, his works took a more sculptural turn with pieces like Sword of the Pig and Combines. In 1995, his passion for cinema led him to direct his only film to date, the cyberpunk Johnny Mnemonic. Werner Spies describes Longo's style as "fatal romanticism."
