Les sauf-conduits et Kidnappé
This recurring program showcases works from Québec’s audiovisual heritage, digitized and restored by the Cinémathèque québécoise, or thanks to its contribution. Since 2018, we have restored around fifty independent films thanks to the support of the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec as part of its Digital Cultural Plan. Other works have been restored in collaboration with local or international cultural organisations, using elements preserved in our collections.
Kidnappé uses techniques as diverse as photography, drawing, painting, collage and live footage. Beyond its narrative centering around a police investigation, the film becomes an open reflection on the power of the imagination.

Alice, Marc and Hubert wanted to break the distance record for the raw egg throw and get into the Guinness Book of Records. They hadn't foreseen that love would create a distance even more difficult to break. And that desire would challenge them.
