Synopsis

In 2054, in a maze-like and camera-controlled Paris, Ilona Tasuiev, a brilliant scientist from the Avalon company, is abducted by an unknown man. The company calls on Karas, a criticized policeman who specializes in kidnappings, to find her quickly.

Christian Volckman

Christian Volckman is a French director, animator, and painter. He became known in 1999 for his animated short film Maaz, which won over thirty awards. In 2006, he directed his first feature film, Renaissance, a black-and-white science fiction animated film without shades of gray. The film won the Cristal for a Feature Film at the Annecy Festival in 2006. He is also known for his live-action feature film, The Room, released in 2019.
