Jerry Schatzberg is an American photographer and film director. After establishing himself as a successful celebrity photographer, he transitioned to making feature films. He is best known for his films The Panic in Needle Park (1971) and Scarecrow (1973), which won the shared Palme d'or at the 1973 Cannes Film Festival.
