Synopsis

Space Down is a feature-length collage film made with amateur footage retrieved on the Internet. It documents the bootstrap of an astronaut community here on Earth who migrates to space in the confines of their homes. The film is a work in progress.

Dominic Gagnon

Dominic Gagnon is a Quebecois filmmaker and artist. Working at the intersection of documentary and experimental cinema, he creates period portraits by delving into amateur online videos. He gained recognition with a trilogy (RIP in Pieces America, Pieces and Love All to Hell, Big Kiss Goodnight) produced between 2009 and 2012.
