Brigitte Sauriol
Brigitte Sauriol has been very active in the film industry for over thirty years, writing and directing for both film and television. From 1991 to 2014, she taught screenwriting at the Université du Québec à Montréal. In addition, she collaborates in the scriptwriting of fictional works for film and television. She also holds grants from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and the Canada Council for the Arts. Among her extra-professional activities, Brigitte Sauriol was the first president of the Fédération professionnelle des réalisateurs et réalisatrices de la télévision et du cinéma (FPRTC). In 1971, she was a founding member of the Association coopérative de productions audiovisuelles (ACPAV) where she directed her first two films.
