Maite Alberdi

Maite Alberdi is a Chilean director, screenwriter and film critic. She is the founder of Micromundo Producciones and, as of June 2018, a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

She is known internationally for her documentaries La once (2014) and The Grown-Ups (2016), for which she won the award for Best Documentary Direction by a Woman at the Amsterdam International Documentary Film Festival, and El agente topo (2020), nominated for the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature.
