The First Charge of the Machete is a historical drama that evokes the beginnings of the Ten Years' War in Cuba in October 1868. In the province of Oriente, a rebellion is organized against Spanish soldiers. With few weapons and ammunition, the revolutionary forces compensated by using machetes and guerrilla tactics.
