Miranda July
Miranda July is an American film director, screenwriter, actress, and author. Her body of work includes film, fiction, monologue, digital presentations, and live performance art. She wrote, directed, and starred in the films Me and You and Everyone We Know (2005), which won both the Critics' Week Grand Prize and the Caméra d’or, as well as The Future (2011). She also wrote and directed Kajillionaire (2020). Her multimedia work has been presented at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. Additionally, she contributes to various magazines such as The Paris Review, The Harvard Review, and The New Yorker, produces radio performances, and has published several books. These include the short story collections No One Belongs Here More Than You (2007) and It Chooses You (2011), along with the novels The First Bad Man (2015) and All Fours (2024).
