Synopsis

Global warming has made the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighborhood the ideal place to pick black truffles. Under the worried gaze of his wife Alice, Charles undergoes a bizarre behavior change after being hired by a mysterious harvesting company that's taking advantage of the situation.

Kim Nguyen

Kim Nguyen is a Canadian film director and screenwriter. A 1997 graduate of Concordia University in Montreal, he is best known for his 2012 film War Witch (Rebelle), which won 10 awards at the 1st Canadian Screen Awards. The film was named Best Picture and won acting awards for two of its stars, while Kim Nguyen himself won the awards for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay. The film also earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film. More recently, he directed the films Eye on Juliet (2017) and The Hummingbird Project (2018).
