We Believe You
The mission of the Centre d'art et essai de la Cinémathèque québécoise (CAECQ) is to primary program Quebec-made documentaries and independent fiction, as well as international documentaries, animated and foreign films, while encouraging opportunities for meetings between the public and the artists. Its programming is presented in conjunction with the Cinémathèque québécoise’s under the label New releases.

Charlotte Devillers & Arnaud Dufeys
Charlotte Devillers & Arnaud Dufeys co-wrote and co-directed We Believe You. A healthcare professional who works with victims of sexual violence, Charlotte was able to capture the most intimate aspects of the juvenile court reality. Arnaud Dufeys, filmmaker and producer, received international prizes for his short films, notably Invincible Summer (2024 Berlin Internation Film Festival). He is also working on two feature films: Faire surface and Les caniculaires.
