The Forbidden Cinematheque is the great parallel history of cinema. The history of exploitation cinema, seduction, ecstatic frenzy, and the unbridled audacity of a pop culture that dares to do anything. It’s also an opportunity to regularly get together and dive into the Cinémathèque québécoise’s archives in search of hidden gems and a wide variety of cinematic delights. A series of double features to savor all those films we love to love, thanks to 35mm and 16mm prints whose battle scars only adds to the charm of revisiting them on the big screen.
