Founded in 1975 in Montreal, Groupe Intervention Vidéo (GIV) is one of the few centers in the world dedicated to promoting women's work (in its most inclusive definition) by distributing and disseminating it while actively supporting its production. Its distribution catalog currently includes 1600 works by 370 artists.
Members of GIV were present at the Wiki workshop on October 5 to talk about their organization and to present video excerpts from its history.
