Getting to Montreal

Montreal is easily accessible by plane, train, bus or car. The Montréal-Trudeau international airport is located in the town of Dorval, about 20 km from downtown Montreal.

Société de transport de Montréal (STM)

Montreal's public transit network is served by the STM. For your stay, you'll only need tickets for Zone A (Montreal Island agglomeration). We recommend that you purchase your tickets at the machines located at Montréal-Trudeau airport or at a metro station. Please note that bus fares are only payable in change. Banknotes are not accepted.

Visitor visa & eTA

Depending on your country of origin, you will need a visitor visa or an electronic travel authorization (eTA)to enter Canada.
