John Harbour

John Harbour is a PhD candidate in literature, theatre and film at Université Laval. His research focuses on the interactions between animation cinema and comics, on pioneer Raoul Barré and on other groundbreaking filmmakers such as Alice Guy, Georges Méliès and Lotte Reiniger. A regular collaborator at Séquences Magazine, John Harbour has also codirected animated film Barking Up The Right Tree (2019), which has been selected in several international festivals (Fantasia, Sommets du cinéma d’animation, Festival du cinéma francophone en Acadie, LINOLEUM in Ukraine).
