Winner of the Cristal for a Feature Film, 2015 Annecy Festival
The steampunk universe conceived by French cartoonist Jacques Tardi is remarkably brought to life by Frank Ekinci and Christian Desmares, who create an exciting film that preserves the splendor of Tardi's graphics. Rich, full of twists and turns and skilfully directed, the film brings to life an uchronistic Paris of the late 19th century, offering a scientific-police plot full of invention.
