Centered on the exchange between the public and the editors of a film, this program is a unique opportunity to reveal to as many people as possible this fascinating profession, so important in the creative process of any cinematographic work.
Presentation by Nathalie Lamoureux.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the editor Emma Bertin, moderated by Anne Gabrielle Lebrun Harpin.
A filmmaker shooting in New York questions the immobility and the loss of reference points. But without warning, her main actor leaves for a more lucrative contract. She will have to show ingenuity and creativity to complete her project.

Jennifer Alleyn
Born in Switzerland, Jennifer Alleyn is a Canadian filmmaker and artist. At 22, she traveled the globe solo, camera in hand, to participate in The Race Around the World TV show. Followed the collective feature film Cosmos, winner of the CICEA award in Cannes in 1997 at the Directors' Fortnight. Her trilogy of films on art, awarded at the International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA), further established her cinematic vision. She returned to fiction with the short film, Snavok, inspired by a dream, which won the Critics' Award at the RVCQ in 2006. In 2018, she directed and produce Impetus, an acclaimed hybrid drama that blurs the frontier between fiction and cinema vérité. With her latest film, Kairos, Jennifer continues her formal exploration. This film, with its strong artistic signature, unites her human concerns with her commitment to the invisible minority.
