Synopsis
This film captures the cult contemporary dance work *** Joe*** by the legendary choreographer Jean-Pierre Perreault. The piece is a gripping depiction of human alienation. Thirty-two impeccably-dressed dancers clomp around in their thirty-two pairs of boots, moving in groups as individuals try in vain to break away from the pack.
