Synopsis

This film takes an ethnological look at a disappearing phenomenon: the country priest. We are introduced to a confined world: church, presbytery, liturgy, rituals, accessories, ministry, sermons, opinions, religious role and social influence. Through his official functions, we get to know the man himself: Antonio Arsenault, priest of Saint-Séverin-de-Beauce, a discreet, delightful man with a kind heart.
