Le goût des choses
The mission of the Centre d'art et essai de la Cinémathèque québécoise (CAECQ) is to primary program Quebec-made documentaries and independent fiction, as well as international documentaries, animated and foreign films, while encouraging opportunities for meetings between the public and the artists. Its programming is presented in conjunction with the Cinémathèque québécoise’s under the label New releases.

For the past 3 years, Pierre-Gilles and Antoine have been growing their vegetables entirely naturally. It's not an easy job, with daily threats from the changing climate, pests and diseases, not to mention the financial pressure. The year 2023 has begun with an added challenge: the road running alongside the plot is undergoing major works, complicating access to the crops. What's more, we have to cohabit with the workers, and put up with the noise.
Alain Wirth
Born in 1979 in Vevey, Alain Wirth worked as a primary school teacher, mover, travel columnist, street singer, salesman, beverage delivery driver, guide, and bartender before deciding to study cinema at HEAD. He currently focuses his energy on creating and producing socially engaged documentaries.
