Fantasia is once again offering films that reflect the vitality of genre cinema throughout the history of Quebec cinema. An homage to filmmaker Jean-Claude Lord will also be held on this occasion.

Roxane is a world famous pop singer. After one of her shows, she is kidnapped by a gang of kidnappers who demand a large ransom to see her alive again. Roxane's father, Paul, decides to pay the ransom and have his company's accountant, Francis, a somewhat simple-minded man, deliver her. Then a lot of things happen that will complicate the delivery of the money to the kidnappers.
