Negociador
In collaboration with the Filmoteca Vasca (Basque Film Archive) and the Basque Cultural Institute, as part of the saison Québec-Pays basque, we are presenting a program of films bearing witness to a troubled period in the last half of the twentieth century in Spain, when a far-left, anti-Franco autonomist movement was developing.
A Basque politician is the interlocutor of the Spanish government in the negotiations with ETA. Instead of witnessing a solemn and calculated act, he will soon see that misunderstandings mark the dialogue between the two parties and that the personal relationship between the negotiators will be the key to resolving the conflict.
