Synopsis
At the time of the Bay of Pigs Invasion, the old personal quarrels between two peasants are replaced by an ideological clash, as one, a revolutionary activist, confronts the other, a counter-revolutionary insurgent.

Manuel Pérez Paredes is a Cuban film director and screenwirter. He has directed seven films since 1961. In 2013, he received the National Film Award presented by the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC), with whom he has been collaborating since 1959.
