Jean-Vital Joliat

Jean-Vital Joliat is a French-Swiss-Canadian filmmaker, who is based in Montreal since 2011. His unique vision pushes the boundaries of cinematic art and his creative aesthetic is evident in all his projects, ranging from advertising and music videos to documentaries, short fiction films and content videos. His work has earned him numerous awards around the world. He won the title of Best Music Video of the Year at Prisma in Rome, Italy, for his project Water, created for the Montreal band De.Ville. Jean-Vital is also deeply interested in people, cultures, diversity, and the elements that enrich and beautify the world. With Roger, mon frère (2024), he is releasing his very first feature-length documentary.
