Official launch of the podcast series with excerpts commented on by Jean Luc Kanapé
The Innu people have long led a nomadic life, traveling along rivers between the coast and inland areas to hunt throughout the winter on their ancestral lands. However, the construction of dams starting in the 1950s submerged their trails, temporary villages, and cemeteries under water and concrete. This podcast series aims to share the stories of elders to preserve these buried memories.
