Synopsis

Rupert Pupkin, a little-known stand-up comedian, dreams and believes that he has great talent. He tries to convince Jerry Langford, a famous talk-show host, to put him on his show. Langford flatly refused. Pupkin then takes all the necessary steps to ensure his moment of glory on the prime-time show.

Martin Scorsese is an American filmmaker, actor, screenwriter, and producer. He has also dedicated his life to film preservation and film restoration by founding the nonprofit organization The Film Foundation in 1990, as well as the World Cinema Foundation in 2007 and the African Film Heritage Project in 2017.
