The Man from Maisinicu
We have several dozen Cuban films in our archives, allowing us to document the inspiration and creativity of filmmakers who, shortly after the Cuban revolution, devoted their cameras to documenting daily life, individual questions and collective movements.
In the early months of 1964, groups of counter-revolutionaries are active in the Escambray mountains. One morning, the body of Masinicú farm administrator Alberto Delgado Delgado is found dead. Investigations carried out to determine the motive for the crime and its perpetrators reveal that an intense class struggle is underway.
