The Taste of Others
At our invitation, Francesca Bozzano, the Director of Collections at the Cinémathèque de Toulouse, has curated a varied selection of short and feature films from their catalog. This program includes ten screenings ranging from silent cinema, experimental films, and animation to underground, documentary, and classic films, with several restorations done by the Cinémathèque de Toulouse or from elements preserved in their vaults.

Agnès Jaoui
Agnès Jaoui is a French actress, screenwriter, director, playwright, and singer. In 1998, she won the César Award for Best Supporting Actress for the film Same Old Song, and in 2001, she received the César Award for Best Film for The Taste of Others. With four César Awards for Best Original Screenplay or Adaptation and an Honorary César in 2024, she is the most awarded woman in the history of the ceremony with seven trophies. She has directed five films, all written with Jean-Pierre Bacri. Her first film, The Taste of Others, was nominated for the Oscar for Best International Film in 2001, while Look at Me won the Best Screenplay Award at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival.
