Three from the Filling Station
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Cinémathèque québécoise, we wanted to highlight our long-term collaboration with the Goethe-Institut. The diffusion of German cinema within our walls has often been set up in collaboration with this cultural organization. This has led to the donation of many films from their collections, which are featured in this program.
Three carefree friends return from a trip and realize they're broke. They have one car left, which they decide to sell in order to open a gas station where they work one after the other. They then meet Lilian Cossmann, a rich and gorgeous customer with whom they fall in love, but without the others knowing it.
