Wild Feast
We have the opportunity to showcase a few films that have shine in the past few months in Quebec. While we await the winner of the Prix collégial du cinéma québécois, let's discover - or rediscover the nominated films of Joël Vaudreuil, Ara Ball, Chloé Leriche, Robert Morin, as well as Pier-Luc Latulippe & Martin Fournier. A program of short films will also offer a glimpse at the best offerings of the year.

Struck by an arrow, a moose escapes its pursuers to die deep in the forest, feasting on its fellow creatures. First wasps, flies and beetles, then crows, eagles, vultures, and finally all the carnivorous mammals of the boreal forest. The banquet is the occasion for games, rituals and conflicts between species and between rivals from the same families. By spring, there’ll be nothing left of the giant but the silhouette of his body imprinted on nature.

Robert Morin
Robert Morin is a Quebecois director, screenwriter, actor, and cinematographer. In 1977, he co-founded Coop Vidéo with friends. Morin made a significant impact in 1992 with his crime film Requiem for a Handsome Bastard. He relied on the talents of committed actors like Gildor Roy and Brigitte Paquette to carry out his uncompromising experimental narrative. It is one of the most celebrated films of his filmography. He is also among the founders of PRIM vidéo, initially conceived as a center for accessing filming equipment following the dissolution of the Montreal artist center, Véhicule Art.
