French Avant-Garde of the 1920s

Alongside Sylvano Santini, a professor of literary studies at UQAM, this session offers the opportunity to see some gems of 1920s avant-garde cinema on the big screen: from the Dada movement’s irreverence to the emergence of surrealism that followed, these pioneering works revolutionized cinema and art at the beginning of the 20th century.
