International Holocaust Remembrance Day

On the occasion of this commemorative day, two films, almost five decades apart, bear witness to the extermination of European Jews during the Second World War.

Guest speaker Damiano Garofalo teaches at Rome's Sapienza University, specializing in the relationship between Italian and American cinema. His interest in the relationship between history and cinema also makes him an ideal speaker for Italian cinema, with a particular focus on fascism and the Second World War.

This conference will be held in English.
