2:15 p.m. | Cataloguing and Documentation Commission (CDC) Workshop
The CDC will present status updates on some of our ongoing projects, in particular the results of our Task Force on Restoration Documentation (Ela Wysocka), the work on the revision of our FIAF Moving Image Cataloguing Manual (Natasha Fairbairn), and the latest developments of Treasures from the Film Archives (Rutger Penne and Julia Welter). Adelheid Heftberger will give a short overview on other ongoing projects, like our Linked Open Data project and the Special Collections Directory.

Programming Classic Cinema in a Changing Society for Contemporary Audiences
The workshop is a next step in debating the topic raised at the latest Programming Winter School. The session presented there by PACC was called: "How to programme classic cinema today in the light of changing societal paradigms, in response to new audiences, and avoiding the trap of self-censorship". We will present a summary of the discussion held so far and then also engage with the Congress participants.

12:30 p.m. | Handover of works to the Cinémathèque Africaine in Ouagadougou and the Institut Fondamental d'Afrique Noire (IFAN) – Cheikh Anta DIOP
The Cinémathèque québécoise has joined forces with the Institut Fondamental d'Afrique Noire (IFAN) – Cheikh Anta DIOP and the Cinémathèque Africaine de Ouagadougou to preserve and promote the works of Quebec filmmaker Danièle Lacourse and her team. Filmed in Eritrea, Ethiopia and Rwanda between 1985 and 1996, these rare elements will be handed over to them, in the presence of the filmmaker and His Excellence Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal in Canada, Gorgui Ciss. This project was made possible with the support of the ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec.
