Daughter of mine
Encouragés par la projection inopinée du nouveau film Piccolo corpo de Laura Samani en septembre dernier (sélectionné à la Mostra), nous représentons ce titre, en y adjoignant quelques autres films récents de réalisatrices italiennes. Une occasion de vérifier sur pièce un bref état des lieux du cinéma d'auteur italien au féminin.
Vittoria is growing up in a Sardinian village untouched by tourism. In the summer in which he celebrates her 10th birthday, Vittoria discovers that she has two mothers: Tina, a loving mother who lives in symbiotic relationship with her, and Angelica, a fragile and instinctive woman, who leads an unsettled life. The two women break the secret pact that binds them since her birth, and dramatically fight for the love of their daughter. Vittoria will live a summer of questions, fears, discoveries, but also adventures and turning points, a summer after which nothing is going to be like it was.
Laura Bispuri
Laura Bispuri étudie le spectacle vivant à Rome et obtient un master en arts. En 2010, elle reçoit le prix David di Donatello du meilleur court-métrage pour Passing Time. En 2015, son film Vergine giurata est retenu pour la sélection officielle de la 65e Berlinale. En 2018, son deuxième long métrage Figlia mia, fait également partie de la sélection officielle de la 68e édition du festival de Berlin.
