Synopsis

It is said that every investigator has a crime that haunts them, a case that hurts him more than the others, without him necessarily knowing why. For Yohan that case is the murder of Clara.

Dominik Moll

Dominik Moll studied at the University of New York, then at the Institut des hautes études cinématographiques (IDHEC, now the Fémis), where he made several short films. During his time at IDHEC, he met his first artistic partners, Laurent Cantet and Gilles Marchand. In 1983, Dominik Moll shot his first short film, The Blanket, based on a short story by Charles Bukowski. In 2000, he co-wrote and directed Harry, un ami qui vous veut du bien, a thriller selected in competition at the 53rd Cannes Film Festival and awarded four Césars the following year, including those for best director and best actor. In 2005, he directed the fantastic thriller Lemming with Charlotte Gainsbourg, André Dussollier and Charlotte Rampling, which opened the 58th Cannes Film Festival. In 2011, he directed The Monk by Matthew Gregory Lewis with Vincent Cassel in the title role. His film La Nuit du 12 was selected out of competition at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival and received the César for Best Film.
