Synopsis

A female neuroscience researcher develops a rare form of melophobia after experiencing a musical Stendhal Syndrome. Witnessing her colleagues' strangely changing behavior over repeated exposure to the same anonymous piece of music, she flees to find shelter from the pervasive sounds of music infiltrating her increasingly frightening world.

V F C is the very first adaptive and augmented cinema experience, allowing each audience member to hear a personalized soundtrack generated from a real-time analysis of their brain activity. A web application then allows participants to obtain a personalized report of their experience after the screening, featuring user-friendly data visualizations based on scientific data.
