Rapide-Blanc 35th Anniversary

Since 1984, Rapide-Blanc has offered original and committed cinema in the image of its founders. After celebrating their 35 years at the Cinémathèque as part of RIDM 2019, Rapide-Blanc is now offering a series of 4 more recent films from its catalog.

First, discover our latest acquisition featuring French philosopher Frédéric Lenoir as he leads discussions with groups of children: Le cercle des petits philosophes.

We are also pleased to bring you, for the first time on the big screen, filmmaker Justice Rutikara's first film: The City of Others. The film will be accompanied by a short film by Alexandre Sheldon: Algo, Polly, Turcot.

Director Serge Giguère invites you to celebrate the geographer and great northerner, Louis-Edmond Hamelin, who died in 2020, with a presentation of his film Le Nord au Coeur.

Finally, as the Olympic Games approach, see or re-see the journey of the Canadian synchronized swimming team trying to qualify for the 2016 Games in a film by Jérémie Battaglia: Parfaites.
