Robert Breer's animated films

To celebrate the publication of the book Défier le film, le cinéma d'animation de Robert Breer, published by Somme toute, the Cinémathèque québécoise is welcoming two specialists of his work who will be paying tribute to the filmmaker who passed away in 2011. During a commented screening and a round table, Patrick Barrès, the author of the book, and Pascal Vimenet, who signed the preface, will highlight the singularity of Robert Breer's work, its place within the history of experimental animation and the variety of research avenues followed by the artist.
