Pierre Hébert : Places and Monuments

May 6th - June 27th, 2021

As Pierre Hébert releases his last animation film, Le mont Fuji vu d'un train en marche, nineteen of his original drawings will be exhibited on the walls of the Cinémathèque for the occasion. Inspired by photographs taken in the forest of Yakushima, Japan, these charcoal sketches were used as the basis to produce a sequence of his feature film.
